This winter, NYC Restaurant “Week” (actually three weeks) runs from January 21 to February 9 (excluding Saturdays). Information and booking links went live on the NYC Tourism site just this morning, and it’s… overwhelming. There are over 500 participating restaurants offering 2-course lunches and 3-course dinners at price points of $30, $45, and $60 — and I looked through them so you don’t have to. While some restaurants seemingly use the Restaurant Week label to attract customers without providing any added value, others are actually offering great selections at a lower price point than usual. The following restaurants fall into that latter category. If you’re trying to plan a midwinter meal at a restaurant with great ambiance and great food for no more than $60 a head, look no further.
